The annual Simulated Emergency Test (SET) is set for October 3, 2026. OCTEN will participate in this test as it has done in the past.

During the OCTEN Traffic Net on Saturday Oct 3, 2026 each check-in will be asked for the access to Emergency Power. Ultimately the results of this SET get returned to ARRL.

Doug AK2Z has stepped down as Net Manager of OCTEN. He is continuing to be a NCS on Thursdays. We wish to extend our gratitude to Doug for all he has done for OCTEN, and will continue to do.
